Was trying to close a deal on a Dale Jr auto and know its in the ABYSS of Beckett!!

I just read another thread that said all old PMS were deleted ... I guess they sent out a warning this past Saturday - to all those who missed their short notice - tough beans. Sad state of affairs - really ...

someone posted a direct link to the old beckett forums in a thread in the basketball section.....give it a try.....if you didn't delete your old inbox , it is still there , though likely only in read-only format....
I collect ALL SC Gamec0cks + tymere zimmerman , barry sanders , kirby puckett , gilbert arenas , vin baker , jermaine o'neal , any gu/auto of defensive FB playe rs , + any parallels claude's card corner |

Thanks for the link. Just cleaned up a couple of thank you's for previous trades via e-mail
Luckily, I could sense some of these problems coming so I'm not in the middle of trades currently. Going back to the old version and seeing how slick it worked made me sad. There's nothing wrong with change and since I was mainly on here for trades and to read the box breaks section, Beckett's website wasn't getting any money from me and so I'm not their target audience so I really don't think they realistically care what I do. At some level I understand but I think a smarter way to go would have been to get everyone to load their collections in to buy/sell and then start charging a nominal trade value at a later date when they had you hooked. Now, people like me can bail without much effort. |
