ESPN TOP 20 COLLEGE PLAYERS EVER
BravesFan4Life Wrote:Pistol Pete was overrated, only reason he did so damn well is because his father was the coach at LSU. Oscar and Lew deserved to be no 1 and 2. They named the freaking college player of the year award after Oscar Robertson and Lew put UCLA on the map forever. Did his Dad take the court and make all of those shots for him and have one of the sickest handles of the era as well? Dumb comment |

ESPN TOP 20 COLLEGE PLAYERS EVER
I think that the list is fairly accurate considering individual stats and team accomplishments.

ESPN TOP 20 COLLEGE PLAYERS EVER
No Danny Manning makes this list ridiculous in my opinion.
2,951 points (20.1/game) 1187 rebounds (8.1/game) 250 steals (for a center!) 200 blocks 342 assists 1 National Championship Magic and Jordan shouldn't even be on this list if you are only considering college accomplishments. |

redbaron16 Wrote:Pistol Pete = greatest college basketball player ever. By a large margin.maybe greatest college offensive player, but not the greatest,so defense and championships don't matter ? Was Maravich ever a winner? I remember reading that what hurt him a lot was seeing Boston Win the Championship the year after he retired... |
