FRED TAYLOR - HOF'er???
OK, so i see there's one up for Hines Ward. My question is Fred Taylor. He's top 20 all time rushing list, has great td/ypc and every other stat. He can't help the fact he plays on a very low-followed team and therefore only has one pro-bowl appearance. Is Fred Taylor a HOF'er??

love the guy, but I can't see him getting in. Ricky Watters is a top 20 rusher still, I think, and he wont sniff the HOF. Fred was just a victim of bad luck and being on a small market team. Great career, not HOF though

Injured far too often to really display his ability. Not a chance, not even on the veterans' votes.

thanks for all of your opinions. it's a shame tho, Fred Taylor is a class act and an amazing runner. To put up those #'s with all the injuries is just SICK, and he still is in his prime too..

If Fred can have 2 more years like last year then I think he's is. He has said his goal is to pass Jim Brown on the all-time rushing list and if he does that I think it would be hard to keep him out of the hall.

Fred's in the Hall of the Very Good along with Ottis Anderson, Ricky Watters, and Eddie George. George would have the best chance of the 4, but I don't see any of them getting in. Even a Super Bowl appearance might not get Taylor in....Anderson was an MVP of a Super Bowl and he's not in.

Fred has had an injury plagued career and while he had a nice year last year, at his age, I don't see him putting in 2-3 more which is probably what he would need. He's only got one pro bowl, and that's in an age when the Pro Bowl simply doesn't mean as much because a lot of guys skip it due to injury.

Great player, just not a Hall of Fame one.
