E-Bay hot packs
I see a few people selling hot packs, guaranteed one auto in the pack. How is this done?

E-Bay hot packs
Mostly its probably a scam, although I'm sure there are ways of doing it legitimately (or at least as legitimately as you feel pack searching without resealing is).
However, I have seen some sellers advertising Hot Packs of products that guarantee an Auto or Jersey anyway. Say, 2007 Ultra SE packs. I guess in that case its just a marketing tool to try to get more exposure. Although, IMO seeing the words "Hot Pack" associated with a listing would make me stay away from the auction at all costs. So i'm not sure how much help this practice is doing. |

E-Bay hot packs
Most of the time, I'd stray away from those sales.
I have seen a seller selling "Gold Refractor auto hot packs" on the bay and then getting negative feedback. I was glad I didn't pick one up. But if they are like those 15 dollar retail hot packs from 07 BDP, usually they are hot- with an auto or game used card, but you'll probably pull something like a Signs of the Future auto or jersey. Hope this helps! |
