Anyone ever pull anything good from the guys selling loose packs there? I have not yet and was wondering if I was wasting my time.

its a game of luck...it doesn't matter where you buy your packs from.

Nope never even pulled a numbered card. Also, be careful of one of wax dealers, PM me for details.

Loose packs is hit or miss. If the dealers aren't doing something shady, there's always a chance that the customers are buying until the hits are gone and leaving dregs.

As for boxes, the main wax dealer (guy from SD) seems legit. I've opened loose boxes from him and hit plenty of stuff.

there's a dealer there in the middle aisles that sells nothing but packs, they are a safe bet.

i have heard that there is a dealer there that has tons of hits for sale and then loose packs for cheaper than what they are going for. I used to go to this show quite often but several dealers have told me that there are some shady things going on.

I haven't been for a while but when I was there I'd go religiously Weds and Sat. There was this one stand that looked like a husband and wife and whenever I'd pull with other friends, we never got anything of value. Could be look but I think it was otherwise. Just be safe and wait until they open a new box before you bust.

On the second to the last east aisle, there are two dealers who sell sealed boxes, then there is one blond-hair guy who sells singles and some loose packs from boxes.

The wax guys dollar dan and a husband and wife combo are safe in terms of sealed boxes. Don't buy any loose packs from the husband and wife- but their sealed boxes are legit- that's where I pulled a 2004 sp game patch Hideki Matsui dual patch logo 1/1 autograph as well as my Longoria red- the two best hits of my life from the same dealer (what are the chances of that?)

The last guy is a guy with blond hair and is frankly a creep and a jerk.
I bought 9 loose packs (remainder of the box) of 2004 sp prospects from him and there was not a single jersey or autograph (obviously searched), he had some single packs of bowman draft that sold as well, but no autographs out of those either (obviously searched). Stay clear from that guy.

The other husband wife combo in the middle aisles is legit, as are the rest of the sealed wax people in the place.

Stay far away from single packs of that blond hair guy- he only has single packs and his cases are full of the hits from those single packs- stay far away.
