Make sure you haggle with this dude. Once he gave me an extra pack. |

Kenny was the funniest, I set up with him a few times and it was hilarious, His work got in the way though and he couldn't do it anymore. Randy sets up with his dad right next to him, I still go every once in a while to trade him inserts/base/game used for new wax, he was the one that played poker with me and Kenny, Good Good times. |

There was this one stand that looked like a husband and wife and whenever I'd pull with other friends, we never got anything of value. Could be look but I think it was otherwise. Just be safe and wait until they open a new box before you bust. That couple was selling Hot Packs at the 2007 National in Cleveland. |

Wow, I'm a little bit surprised about Scott. He'll always knock off a couple bucks when I buy from him. I do have to ask though. The last time I bought a pack from him, I pulled a kevin whelan refractor. I'll have to be more careful with him in the future.
There is one guy deeper in that aisle on the opposite side of Scott I am not very fond of. I've never bothered to ask him for his name. He's an older guy who always has a younger guy with him. His display has mostly vintage and a couple angels autos I sold him. He is way too greedy for his age. I brought in a kershaw auto once and he said things like, "Where's the 'crayshaw' at?" and "Is that any good?" Two of my favorite dealers are Chris (skinny white dude with a green hat) and Dario (used to set up next to the guy with all the cut sigs). I was pretty upset after finding out Dario sold out. He was always easy to deal with and had cards I liked. I almost always make a deal with Chris when I'm there. He saved me some money last time from the grading booth by spotting flaws I was oblivious to. |

I haven't been there in a while. I would go and sell some of my angels tickets to a couple of dealers there. Some of the dealers that used to buy tickets aren't as interested any more and with the price of gas going up, it's not really worth it for me to drive down there unless I really need something or get the urge to crack a box or two. I may go to the show this weekend if I can sell my red sox/angels tickets.
Fugazzi, did Dario stop setting up and sell all his inventory? I find that hard to believe? Maybe he's taking a break and traveling back to his family overseas and might be gone for a while? |

He was one of just a handful of dealers who would actually buy your prospect stuff and pack war with you, plus deal with you and give you a fair price. |

I have never had much luck with Scotts packs, but I just take it as good or bad days. Never really did much single packs, mainly boxes. But had a couple of good pulls from packs. In general I would stay away from boxes that you did not see opened and dont know the dealer. Buying unopened boxes is probably better, But then people will say you need to pull the boxes from fresh cases.
