The reason people buy them is their cards won't be out yet, only press pass garbage. That was the final thing that made me buy, i was skeptical but pulled the trigger with advice from cupes =)

Bad Comparison for a number of reasons

Werent the SPA Stickers?

These do not pop up much after the initial buy and sell phase.

Roy is two years ago news, where these guys are new and fresh, which is what people want.

And these will settle as all cards do eventually including the SPA, but teams and fans are excited about their new additions right now.

Nick Young was $125-175 range I believe

I know I sold my Nick Young when it arrived for $280 and Gordon and Bayless are way better than he is then or now.

And I have seen that Brandon Roy pop up more often than the Draft Cards in the past year

i know people are gonna bash me for this but its jsut my opinion, you guys can do whatever you want with your own money and its none of my buisness but why would you pay those prices for these guys when at the end of the season these cards will be worth 30-40 bucks for the top players like rose, mayo, beasley, ext?

i dont understand why people go crazy over new rookies, yes i understand that some of them will be great players but if you've been in the hobby long enough then you know how the card market works and it never works in the collectors favor.

basicly all of the last 5 year #1 draft picks have all had a slump in there rookie card auto prices
