Pete Rose and Arod
I was just watching Outside the lines on espn and they had a story about how Arod talks to pete rose about hitting and all aspects of the game. I personally dont see a problem with it but they did say that some of his teammates have an issue with it. They even said one of his teammates said it makes him look shady. Just wondering what everyone else thinks about this?

Just wondering what everyone else thinks about this? How would it look shady? Its not like Rose cheated with performance enhancing drugs or anything like that. He gambled. I dont think Rose is trying to get Arod to gamble on baseball. |

Perhaps the teammates are just jealous of his hitting power.

Good. Pete Rose needs to be back in baseball, or at least in the hobby. Look at what his Sports Kings G/U and autos are doing. Imagine if he could sign with Topps or UD.
I know this is a touchy subject, but his gambling didn't affect his play or his 4192+ hits. I think he has a lot to offer baseball. JMO |

Pete Rose and Arod
The tainted-by-association thing is dangerous for teenagers and professional athletes alike. Rose is on the permanently-banned list or whatever it's called. While Rose has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and a positive approach to the game, it's a risky call, just because people will talk, no that they always talk intelligently, or about things they know about.

I dont think it is a problem. Man if Pete could only get back in to baseball what a hitting coach or manager he would make.

I think its great that Arod is looking to better himself in every way possible. Pete Rose is the person to ask, 4k hits isn't exactly easy.
Watching the report on ESPN right now and I find it outstanding. |

Pete Rose is banned from baseball.
Baseball, however, is not banned from Pete Rose. |
