Early College Football Talk....
Just want to throw out some early college football season conversations:
With all the good players Ohio State has coming back do they win the National Championship game this year(or do the get screwed by the refs again???like vs. the Gators??) Can LSU repeat with soooooooooo much talent gone and no real proven QB?? With the SEC losing soooooo much talent to the NFL and Georgia having alot of great talent do they win the overall SEC?? Can Notre Dame rebound from a horriable season?? Does Michigan have any early success under Coach Rodriguez(SP?) and does he bring the Chippy and Cheap Shot's system he used at WVU and some of the less than desirable people he had there. Will USC be in the National Championship Game?? or any other thoughts. |

brandonbarnett Wrote:Just want to throw out some early college football season conversations: Ohio State will not win the National Championship they dont have the talent to compete with a USC or Georgia or SEC Team (thats been proven 2 years in a row) LSU will not repeat but the talent they lost will be replaced with the talent they have been recruiting the past few years, they are fine Georgia and Florida will battle it out for the SEC east and the championship, but I wouldnt sleep on Tennessee or Auburn or Alabama Notre Dame can only get better they return almost everyone and their opening schedule is fairly good to them from what I can remember Michigan will win games but I think it will be a couple years before they become contenders under rodriguez, losing pryor to OSU hurt alot USC should be in the National Championship game without a doubt, they dont have much if any competition in the Pac 10, but then again I said this the last 2 years so who knows |

The Big 12 North is their for the taking, with a backfield of Darrell Scott and Cody Hawkins they are legit contenders, anything can happen in the Big 12 Championship game, the true test will the homecoming home game against Texas. But it even with the Insane non conference schedule were still looking at a 9 win team at worst |

I really think Ohio State can do it this year as long as there not against USC......Last Year should have been another perfect regular season if the refs knew how to run replay right for the Ill game.
I know LSU beat them soundly but Florida had ALOT of help from a team who didn't deserve to be there and the refs where clearly in the Gator's back pocket.........plus the only lost Gholston that matters......... |

:? Tim Teblow is the best college football player ever. He is the ultimate athelete, he can throw like brett Farve and run like Jim Brown. Oppoenent shudder when he comes to the line and EVERYONE knows he's GOING TO RUN and the defense just stands there and is in awe of the man whose pajams Superman wears.
Tim Tebow doesn't wear a watch, Tebow decides what time it is. When Tim TeBlow has sex with a man he is not gay he has jsut run out of women. Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Tim Tebow. Chevy just announced it is changing its add campaign from 'Like a Rock' to like 'Tim Tebow' Tim Tebow can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves. Tebow can get McDonald's breakfast after 10:30. When taking the SAT, write 'Tim Tebow' for every answer. You will score over 8000. If at first you don't succeed, you're not Tim Tebow. :? :doubt: |

I dont see a Big East team in the Championship because they will all knock each other off, I dont see a team finishing undefeated and thats whats going to need to happen for one of them to make it to the Championship. Im not knocking Ohio State, they will probably finish undefeated but I also think USC and Georgia have a good chance of it too, and Oklahoma may have somehting to say about it too, but if they end up playing Georgia or USC in the title game, I just dont see them winning it right now, but when the season gets going my opinion could definately change |
