I draw the line at jerseys that aren't of the player who wore it. I see no point in buying a card that has a piece of a Lawrence Taylor jersey that Shawne Merriman wore for a photo shoot.

I'll buy one that's of the player depicted, but those different player deals are just ridiculous IMO!

They do that a lot with the alternate jerseys that they use for products like SPA. They had Brandon Marshall wear a 94 Elway jersey, Mario Williams wear an old Warren Moon jersey, etc.

This is a great topic, thanks OP. I've always wondered who wore what. Anyone else have any knowloedge of other jersey's that werent of the player? I'd love to hear them. Thanks guys for all the info

I agree, I was aware that they wore the regular and an alternate jersey but I was unaware that they wore different players jerseys or in this situation a 10 year old pro bowl jersey. Is it just a quantity thing so they can cut up more jerseys?
