Marion Barber because Adrian Peterson stuff is already so high, anything less than ultra good will drop his cards in my opinion. Either way Marion still has more potential to fufil as Adrian already reached his...but when you say true potential what do you mean??? Maybe im getting confused by your title, i cant think at all :doubt:

Barber plays a tough physical style, and fights for yards and luckily he hasn't gotten hurt. Peterson does have a few injury problems, but when healthy, which he should be this year, watch out. He has the great blend of speed, strength, and quickness. I would go with Peterson, but Barber is a beast in his own right though.

Am I the only one who realizes Barber has NEVER carried a full load? What makes everyone think he can? I'm not saying he can't be but let him play as a starter before we think he can handle it. Yeah, that isn't directed towards you and it is just an opinion but that just gets me a little.

To the OP, I say Peterson has a lot more potential!

Barber only had 20+ less carries than peterson last year, and Peterson's teamate Chester Taylor had 150+ carries him self. :lol: But Dallas drafin Felix Jones tells us something

I mean true potential to be an elite back in the NFL.

Dang, i think everything as an investment now, thats sad when i think everypost deals with investments...shows how the hobby has went. Anyways its a toss up, Adrian has the speed and power to do stuff, and Marion just flat out is beast. Marion will have a shorter carrer because of that style ala Earl Campbell but its a toss up...both are beasts in their own right. True potential to be an elite back would probley have to be Peterson though, speed + strength ya know? But Barber isnt far behind and i think depending on this year, we will see how he will fair if he carries most the load.
