I used to get as many of any card as I could, but I realize now how pointless and space-consuming that was... one or two nice mint cards are all you really need!

no kidding, I attempted to collect all of david carr's cards that ever existed. Completely a waste of time, money and space. Now I'm just getting the cards I like.

As far as sheer numbers without duplicates, it's Emmitt Smith, at something like 175, just about all from between 1990 and 1998.
For completion, it's Neal Anderson, with 140 of 211 listed cards, plus 7 that aren't listed in the price guide.
