NBA Draft Night 2008

The Pacers appear to have pulled the trigger on the first big trade

O'Neal to Toronto = win/win for both teams

Now we have the 11th and 17th picks and there have been rumblings of either drafing 2 big men such as Kosta Koufas and Darrell Arthur or even possibly packaging both picks and moving up in the lottery. All I know is this crap is exciting!!!

Most recent word is the Knicks could be pulling off a huge deal involving Zach Randolph, the 6th pick, and David Lee

anyway, I'm super pumped for the draft. (how can I not be with the #1 pick and the rumors they might trade Hinrich for #8 and more) But I won't be watching it unless volleyball practice gets rained out (very possible)

Can't wait for the draft, looks to be quite the interesting event this year. I hope the Bulls manage to actually take Rose, but with Pax, you just never know.

moses i know you want to keep a positive spin on this trade as a pacer fan, but you just traded a great big man (who cant stay healthy but nonetheless) for tj ford. the draft pick is nice, but you are going to have to watch tj ford man the ship for at least two years now. they should have gotten a younger pg. i honestly would rather have what the grizz got for pau than tj ford and a pick.

Radio here in Portland is talking about the Blazers packaging the # 13 and #33 pick and a player, sending them to the Nets for #10 and Trenton Hassel. Then taking the #10 pick and the #33 pick and not sure what else and trading up to #3 to draft OJ Mayo. Of course it could mean that Blazers get Beasley if he drops from #2. I think it's very far reaching....but like all the reports and rumors say...'According to my sources....'

i'm no expert but something doesn't add up.

They can't trade the #33 pick twice. But they do have like 103 picks so I know what you mean.

So they're targeting Mayo so they can run this lineup: Mayo/Roy/SF-Outlaw?/Aldridge/Oden
That's not too shabby.
