Yeah it says in the article that the coach of the college team he was walking on to saw the play and told him they no longer wanted him because he had never seen a catcher get that crossed up on a pitch before.:lol:

I was a catcher from the age of 9 right through high school and we used to do that on purpose if we (the pitcher and I) thought the ump was being an *****. Not the nicest or sportsmanlike thing, but we'd rock him if we needed to...but we did it with no one on base.

This looks like they were doing the same thing...the catcher ducked at the last second.
