Seriously though, this seems like a rumor that could actually hold a little bit of weight. Pat Riley is not all that thrilled about Beasley's personality and there have been rumors that Miami might trade the pick since he initially saw Beasley at some function after the Draft Lottery. Sonics with Durant and Beasley and Jeff Green? Could be a very nice look. Grizzlies with Rudy Gay, Hakim Warrick, Mike Conley, and Beasley? Could be an even nicer looking lineup. I can't wait for the Draft!

the question is: what should the grizzlies give up?

miller/lowry + the #5? that is too much, considering the #5 would be mayo and the heat would add some crap-players to even out the cap-space...

in my oppinion the grizzlies should get the best player at 5 and trade miller for another solid guy!

the grizz will probably want haslem instead of blount but idk if the heat would be willing to do that. expect the heat to take brook lopez or kevin love with the #5 to address their needs at center. they would also get a pg to play with wade and a deadly shooter in miller to help spread the floor. the grizz get a replacement for lowry and frontcourt help that they desperately need. Beasley gives them the star appeal to make people actually care about memphis - everybody wins
