Anybody watching EURO 2008?
Kutzy Wrote:craigconway Wrote:So, Germany did win and advances to the quarterfinals, where they are going to meet Portugal. Nothing else was expected. I meant regarding tonights outcome. Austria wasnt supposed to beat GER, and who could have scored a goal from that squad anyway ? Only goal they scored came via a penalty kick and thats in 3 games.... Frankly speaking, Austria should not have participated. Only because they host the tournament, they got their free ticket. Talking quarterfinals, Portugal is slightly favored at betting houses over in Europe. But lets see. |

Gemany won as expected, but if they don`t show better effort in the next game, Portugal will send them to holidays! Looking forward to see my team tomorrow win against Holland. I think Holland will play with its B-team to give the good players a break. Romania will beat Holland like Switzerland did with Portugal!!!
Hi Noroc-GO ROMANIA!!! |

B-Team of Croatia beat Poland and 4 years ago B-Team of the Czechs beat Germany to send them home after the preliminary round. Remember that a B-Team in general consists of players not getting the opportunity to play for their national team that often. So, if you want to show off your skills or would like to get a better contract the next time, why not play your best when you are given the opportunity ? Regarding HOL-ROM, during the 2007 qualification matches, the Dutch could not beat Romania. So, i would not be surprised if they could not do it again, regardless of A- or B-Team. |

No...
I love all sports, but I can't grasp soccer. It seems exciting to be a part of, but it reaks of Manu Ginobili and that is something I can't stand... |
