Looks as though I was wrong. They're starting Round 6.
The draft doesn't officially end until 9pm EST, so I guess they're squeezing in another round. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but so far from the list of players in the 2007 AFLAC game the following players have been drafted: Xavier Avery? Tim Beckham Gerrit Cole Bret DeVall Robert Grossman Aaron Hicks Destin Hood Eric Hosmer Ethan Martin Tim Melville Clark Murphy Adrian Nieto Kyle Skipworth That's 13/38. I'm sure more have been drafted so please let me know. |

Good first day for Omar, Davis was probably the best hitter left and the Havens pick has been getting a lot of love. Holt could be a gem if his slider develops, much like the Mets hope Pelfrey will be. The kid from the Puerto Rican Academy looks pretty good in his video, very good bat speed, a good arm, and pretty good speed. If he puts on some muscle, he could develop good power. I know nothing about the guy they took with the 100th pick, except for his big success in college. They should've taken Blake Tekotte there, though. Sean Ratliff has some good power, just needs to develop consistency. Don't know anything about Doyle.
So he went in with the plan of picking up a bunch of College Hitters with power potential and it looks like he has done that so far. Hopefully Davis can be a 280-30-100 guy, if not a little better. |

looking a good bit ahead...but does topps usually sign everybody in the top 3-4-5 rounds for the draft product? my cousin got picked up in the 3rd round, and well, that would just be cool as hell.
