While the jabs at Kareem/Ewing were presumably made in jest, they are characteristic of the typical arrogant version of Shaq.

I agree that he doesn't really seem too serious, but why even say all that stuff? He has to know it's just going to create a big controversy. I'm not one of these blindly loyal Kobe supporters so I don't really care if Shaq wants to diss him. It just seems to me like Shaq can say whatever he wants and the media will just write it off as "Shaq being Shaq."

If you're a Kobe fan, I can understand feeling like he disrespected Kobe....but it was Hilarious! The whole Ewing and Karreem gripe was just having good fun though. He obviously has more rings than Ewing and feels he's better than Kareem,,,,big deal.
