question about by the letter autos
got these two seperate hunter pence letters. neither is any kind of parelell that i can tell. my question is why one is signed in a silver sharpie with a sharp tip, and the other in what looks like a gold sharpie with a wider tip. i know the obvious answer some of you will give is that the first pen ran out of ink, just curious if anyone has any info, or has seen stuff like this before?

it could be out of 2 different sets actually.... like the p is out of pence and the r is out of rookie...i have seen instances like this.

I agree to an extent.
I would assume the "P" is from Pence, and the "R" is from Astros. The "R" could not be from Rookie because it is not the rookie card version of the set.

Does anyone know why some are signed in gold and others in silver? I just noticed that the H,A,E,N of my Haren set are signed in gold and the R is signed in silver, so I am kind of curious as to why this is as well.

Some of mine below are signed in Silver, some in black. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it either.

For Hanley Ramirez he has:
RAMIREZ - #/50 signed in gold
FLORIDA - #/25 signed in silver
MARLINS - #/50 signed in silver

I would assume its similar with all other players.
