I agree sometimes our emotions make us say or do irrational things we normally wouldn't do, Its sad to say that I think we all have had our lows in life.

sometimes people arent gifted with alot of close friends and need an outlet to vent.

...the people on here (for the most part and as shown in this thread) are decent human beings who are willing to help.

There's this thing called inner strength. Its when you are mentally strong enough to deal with your own crap to get over it.

Everyone's had traumatic experiences. The problem is most of us are victims to external remedies that are often trivial, transparent, and of fleeting effectiveness. When you have to depend on others to get you through something, you're at the mercy of their responses. Its funny how many preach of an individualistic society but some have to resort to this kind of outreach. It is not a matter of 'he's been through more than most of us' because there is always a way out if you have the right mindset. Maybe I'm a bit of a socialist, but hey that's me.

The world's gone soft, someone has to be hard (thanks Mike's Hard Lemonade).

Of course, this is aside from medically related issues, because those are a whole different story.

If he's had a TBI then the last sentence is the one that matters.
