OT: Anyone have ACL surgery?

Tell me something I don't know about medications. No steroid will put you in jail for life, much less if you aren't distributing. I've done the research. GNC sells nothing regulated by the FDA. Because it says anabolic on the label does not mean it is an actual steroid. |

Keep pumping yourself full of illegal substances (by your own account) that I'm sure your commanding officer would be very happy to find out you are taking. Always and admirable thing for a member of the US armed forces to be a drug user. In the end, keep shooting it. We always need more kidney patients. |

OT: Anyone have ACL surgery?
I blew mine in half trying out for a local police department and had a patella tendon graft. I Had it all most 8 years ago and the recovery from the procedure was horrible. I had to go back to the doctor the next day because it wouldn't stop bleeding and then they wrapped it so tight I went back 3 days later. My morphine drip had ran out and the blood had hardened and more or less made it cast like. Thus it was pressing on my incision so hard I couldn't take the pain any longer even with Loritabs. I had two months of physical therapy and then I couldn't really exercise on it for a couple of more months. I HAD to have the surgery because I tried to go with out it for a month but it was a no go. I also had to take a week off of work due to the slow recovery process. I'm glad I had it done though. But when the humidity is high or when it's cold I have to wear a knee brace. I have been active since then because when I finally could exercise I had gained all most 70 lbs but I eventually took up running. I've ran in a couple of 1/2 marathons and probably around 25 5K races and lost all but 20 lbs of that weight(I am older now so I think I'm at my final weight). The doctor had told me that some people can live an active life without the procedure but I couldn't. Did you know that Hines Ward is missing both of his ACL's? Good luck man hopefully you're young and in shape so maybe it will be easier on you.
