I didn't go to the Spring show but should be going to this one, hopefully it will still be as big.

Really like the Chantilly shows for the Private signings tho, this one has few great players including the 08 HOF Class.

Here is a link to the CSA Guests:

CSA Show Guest at Expo Center

few of the prices are high but its worth meeting HOFers.

I will probably get:
Bob Feller($25 ball)
Dick Williams-got him on a Potomac ball when he was managing...all faded so want a new one
Luis Aparicio ($45 ball),
Darrell Green & Art Monk- wish their stuff was cheaper....$100 for flat but both were one of my favorite players growing up.

might get Goose Goosage if i don't go down for induction weekend this year..

so..who is going? Anyone selling?

I see alot of the players are going to be going back and forth between the Fan Fest and this show. Also, what is up with Art Monk not signing his rookie card for this show when he is getting $120 per item?!

Ive been to this show quite a few times. I wont be going to this one though. The prices are usually outrageous and they never get any really good signers for baseball. IMO there is only 2 good vintage dealers and one good wax dealer.

Plus im saving my money to buy as many cases of 08 BDP this year as i can.

i have been lucky picking up cheap chrome lots, refs of good prospects. Got a Rowell ref and chrome lot of around 15 of few prospects for $5, masterson ref and xref for $10. Bunch of chrome singles, lots for quarter or less (ex.cueto, bruce, davis)

I didnt say you couldnt find some deals but they are just very few and far between.

If you have the time and are willing to go through every table with a fine tooth comb you will find them but its just not worth the effort to me.

I also hate how they mostly have football players sign. Also that they never get any current players to sign in the offseason.

I'm actually a little shocked to see Bob Feller charging so much. He's signed endless amounts of items for $5 each for as long as I can remember. There are so many signed items of him out there because he's so cheap to get that he might be one of the only HOF'ers whose passing won't cause much of a spike in his prices on the secondary market. I mean, he was certainly a good enough player to justify $25 to sign a ball, its just when hes signed thousands at $5 each its kind of surprising to see a 500% increase.
