Ive seen about a gajillion threads that are like this, and probably an infinite amount of auctions that were the same way. Can someone please explain to me why people dont just put $1 million as the BIN?

There is some moron on eBay with a Thomas jones 2006 autograph 1/1 for $1500. I get it...you want to show it off...or at least that's what I hope he's doing, because anyone not intelligent enough to see how stupid that is shouldnt be allowed to buy cards.

Ive gotten into about 10 different arguments that I "dont understand the BIN/BO structure" but I still cant get anyone to explain it to me. I understand that if you dont really want to sell the card, that you dont want to get undercut and wonder "what if.." as you say, but to set a price that is ridiculous is annoying. Obviously it's my pet peave more than anything, but there arent enough :roll: 's in the world for this stuff in my mind.

Now excuse me while I list my entire collection for $75 Million with a best offer....

To each their own, I have had sellers with a Buy it Now of $1000 and I have bought the item for $300 explain it to me that clearly, they do not want to play the what if game

3500 is overpriced but iv seen way worse. atleast this is a super high end card so it makes sense. i figure it would pull atleast 1000 since last year calvin johnson and jamarcus russell sold for 1000 on best offer. mcfadden has more hype then him so with best offer hes hoping someone reallyyyy badly wants the card and will throw up an offer thats more than what it would auction for. its very possible with that card too

Well I picked up the Mendenhall just a few days ago(hasnt arrived in the mail yet):



The seller had the BIN set at about $800 I think.....but we were able to work out a price I thought was within reason. I also consider this....with the selling prices of Bush in '06 and Peterson in '07, if Mendenhall takes off this season, this will be about the only 1/1 card that I can afford. I think the same could be said for the Darren McFadden card....the seller might take a reasonable offer. The BIN price is not really an issue.
