So people don't feel too bad and like they're the only one getting junk breaks, this is what I got after finally managing to track down a box of this stuff at $500+.

I don't need anybody telling me this was an "ok" break. For the price I paid, this was nowhere near "ok". Horrible player selection in this box.

BTW - was this year's Exquisite hand-collated like 07-08 will be? If so, I'd like to find the person responsible for this box :evil:

Yes, 07-08 EXQ is "supposedly" hand-collated again...That break was garbage...Better luck with your future Exquisite breaks!

So this year WAS hand-collated? I'd like to send the cards back to Upper Deck and ask them if they think this is appropriate for a $500+ box.

ouch...with the rookie autos you got, you would think you would get a larry bird AUTO #'d to 10...not a poor two color patch...sorry buddy...if you open any more, i hope its better

Where's your rookie autograph patch? Every box should have one. If that's all you got, definitley call upperdeck or check where you bought it from. Could be resealed.

thats why i never bust such high end products. it cost UD the same amount of money to make this product then it does for them to make some of there other products

i really dont understand exquisite. id rather buy a 60-100 dollar box and pull autos of those guys and get 3 bucks on the bay for them instead of buying a 500 dollar box and getting there autos only to sell them for 5-10 bucks more.

u might get $125 back out of that, thats probably the high end of the spectrum.

the thing im not sure of for 07-08 exquisite is that if its hand collated, in theory it should make every box more consistent, but u probably wouldnt have the very very lucky boxes with like a jordan auto plus a like roy rc auto in the same box. its probably more important though to keep it consistently good rather than 1 in 10 incredible and 5 out of those 10 bad with 4 good.

exquisite is the only product though where u have a chance to get something like a triple logoman or various other cards that could sell for 5k-10k.
