Taylor came in a trade with giznig.


The Contenders sample cuts down my rookie set needs to 99, Prestige is numbered to #/25.

And some non-football...BGS, once again, is from my own submission. The one 9 is only one-half subgrade off from being gem.

how much did you pay to slab each? I have the same akeem olajuwon but didn't think it was worth slabbing. how much would they go for?

I went in on a group submission, $5 per card. I payed to ship the cards to the person who submitted 100+, and payed to ship them back. So total, about $64 for 10 cards. 9 of 10 Gem, with the Jordan missing by a lillllllll bit. I might try a bump.

I graded the Olajuwon only because I'm thinking about doing the whole set BGS. I doubt it will have much interest on the secondary market.

If you ever venture to the basketball boards, check out my thread I started a few days ago. Since I love the 90-91 Fleer set so much, I'm going through each card, front and back scans, 2 a day.

Thanks guys. I'm really loving that Payton. When I busted the pack, I took a quick look and thought it may even have had a shot at the 10. And yes, I have to agree, MJ looks great in the Blue.

pretty nice mail week! I like the payton graded! And that is a bummer on the BGS 9. it could have gone either way. :roll: oh well overall great mailweek!
