I haven't posted in 4 months, so bear with me if this topic has been covered.

According to some dealers, this product has been recalled by UD but I see no evidence of this. Topps and CMG have filed a restaining order against UD for trademark infringement, but I don't think any steps have actually been taken yet.

If this is true, some dealers are falsely stating this to promote they're product, which is NOT right!

Am I right or have I missed something?

i dont know all the details but it is true, UD did recall SP cuts.

I keep hearing the same thing but all of my local shops still have boxes/cases. One interesting fact is that I bought the last 3 loose boxes from blowoutcards.com and all they have left is 2 cases. Weird coincidence that they have not refilled their supply of a hot new product yet? Maybe they are unable to refill their supply due to a possible recall?

To the best of my knowledge, a suit has been filed, but nothing has been recalled yet, though Topps is requesting to have it recalled. My guess would be that they can't really do a recall until they actually go to court and a judge says that it needs to stop being sold.

Just another publicity stunt for UD to try to sell a dying product. Has anyone actually
looked at the product? Its stinks as usual. The mystery cuts are the only thing really
worth in it and UD has been saying that they might not be honoring them. If this product
was great that would be one thing if it was limited, but it aint.

Move along, there is nothing to see here.

As much as I'd like to Rag on UD for all their past injustices, this is not a PR stunt. I've seen the 5page letter from CMG Worldwide. UD has no control over this other than whether to advertise this product or not. When called last week, they informed my shop owner in front of me that they couldn't advise him as to whether to send the product back, or sell it. The did say that they can no longer ship any product. This injunction was set to last 10 days from the 11th. This product is drying up fast, and not a lot of it got out before they stopped shipping.

The distributor for the shop here can't sell the product, I know that. They're not going to get the product back from the smaller dealers, but it looks like a chunk of this product won't see the light of day.
