Depends how much you are looking to spend per box and if you prefer rookies or veterans.

You can get boxes for $43 on Dave and Adams and you get 2 jerseys and 1 rookie auto. You also get a bunch of parallels. You also could get lucky and get a hot box where all the good stuff is doubled (2 autos 4 jerseys). This is some of my favorite boxes to bust this year!

If you would prefer stars/veterans and don't care as much about the rookie class, get stuff from 2006/07, they're a lot cheaper. 06/07 sweet shot has two gu, two autos (one rookie, one veteran) for like 45-55 bucks, but I still would prefer buying singles rather than wax unless you get higher end products.

i agree...06-07 is great if your not too into rookies (although there are a couple of sleepers). i would probably go with 06-07 hot prospects or 06-07 EX. both boxes are at around $40. broken a couple of boxes of both - check out my breaks below - and they had some decent stuff.

the only thing is....there are no jordan autos in these lower end products as UD seems to save MJ stuff for more of the higher end. if you want a chance at hitting an mj auto or something other big time stuff, i would try 06-07 sp game-used ($75-80) or 06-07 Trilogy (around $100). sp game-used is pretty risky, but there are some sick cards in the set like game-used letters, tags, and logos. whatever you do stay away from 06-07 Ultimate ($190-200)! 06-07 Exquisite is actually a pretty good deal in terms of quality, but I doubt you want to go near that $$$$.

I recommend 06/07 Fleer E-X. The cards look great, the box is great value and pretty cheap, and you get some nice hits. A great way to dip the toes in and check the water!!

If you can find it for a decent price try 06-07 Topps Big Game. I got one box for $33 and got a Tony Parker jersey/auto and Nash Jersey. You get one Jersey/Auto, Jersey, rookie and #d card plus one base in each pack for that price and it seems to have a good player selection. There are a lot of rookie autos in the product though. I also like (but have not busted) 07-08 SP Rookie Edition, Hot Prospects and SP Game Used. The prob is that you do take a chance w/any box you buy that has an auto in it b/c you could get a lower tierd semi-star auto or rookie auto that maybe someone who gets kicked out of the NBA after a year or two (i.e. Gerald Green, etc.) Triple Threads cost more, but these are my favorite looking cards and very original and you should more than likely get good GU out of this, hit or miss on the autos though.
