I brought him up in that Yankees Prospects thread and got very little response. He pitched excellent again tonight. 8.0 1 0 0 2 4 What are people's thoughts?

I am very happy for the season Aceves is having. He was very good in Mexico, but at 25 years old I didn't think a team from MLB would notice him.
When he was assigned to A advanced I thought it was a joke and just a waste of money from the Yanks, because adquiring players from Mexican teams is very expensive, a lot more than signing a Latin free agent or even some draft picks. But since he was promoted to AA after a good stint in A advanced he is doing amazingly, I hope to see him in AAA but from there I can't see him reaching MLB for the Yankees, they seem to have very good pitching prospects before of him.

I like Aceves, he is pretty strong. If Scott Patterson can get to the bigs at 29, he has a shot at 25. He has the stuff to be beastly.
