They were decent, the zoom is the reason it looks so close. I am about fed up with this powershot that I have only had for a few months. I realize now that with it, all I am going to get is grain and noise if it isn't EXTREMELY sunny. I think I'll save up for a Nikon D-40 or something - any DSLR that can solve my grain dysfunction - the cam I have now isn't going to cut it.

Really?? The EXIF is showing a focal length of around 70mm and you look pretty low to the field and down the line.
