I've had LT in a keeper league since his second or third season. I still think he's the best back in the game (and actually was better than AP last year too), and he catches the ball a ton for a back. Plus he's usually good for 1 or 2 throwing tds a year.

im not sj fan but neither of those lines were special. chester taylor is a crappy running back who looks good when he runs behind those monsters on minny. peterson is going to put up huge numbers this season. the only way he doesnt is if he gets injured. he wont have poor performances when hes healthy.

it's not about the back. it's always about the line. when you get a talented back with a great line it is going to be a success. ive never touched sj bc #1 he isnt an elite talent, and #2 his line hasnt been that great. once pace when down last yr the line was awful and even before then it wasnt good. this yr sj could be better though as pace is back and they have al saunders as the o-coordinator and he loves to run

ST Louis had so many injuries on the OL last year no one had a chance running or passing the ball. I think he'll be back to form this season if they can keep one unit togther and heatlhy. As far as him not being an elite talent I'm going to have to politley disagree. As big as he is he's deceptively fast and hits the hole just as hard as anyone running uphill.

he is good but imo sj, gore, addai are not elite talents like lt, ap, westbrook. that said, i think sj could have a big year and i consider sj/westbrook/barber as #3/4/5 in no certain order

things change very quickly in the nfl. lt has been great but after 3-4 years of being at the top i think sometime soon we will see him fall a bit. his line is still great though and he doesnt have a good backup so hell be counted on. i worry more about him being injured than ap after the surgery he had

I understand your point, but I worry more about AP being injured. LT has been incredibly healthy for his career (though he did get hurt in the playoffs) but AP has been bitten by the injury bug a few times, plus he's playing half of his games on the horrible turf crap in the dome. (for the record I bet both play in at least 14 games, and LTs #s are better, even if its just by a little)

the decision on who to pick might weigh a bit on perceived injury risk but at the end of the day it is about projected production. i think ap is clearly in the best situation to put up the best numbers but only time will tell.

I'm not sure why he was there but he was doing a signing and they had Mickey Mantle Jr. there signing as well. Mantle Jr. was promoting the Mickey Mantle Foundation. I got his auto as well...
