Big Grin

I think the correct thing to say is "should"

If I'd meant that, I would've said that.

I repeat - he will.

Unless he gets traded to Colorado....

I firmly believe he has the stuff to flourish wherever he goes. Including Colorado.

Tell that to Jeff Francis...and Franklin Morales who is/was a better prospect...

I repeat, sometimes I want to smack you on the back of the head and say...

moron.

I am not calling you a moron, but sometimes some of the things you say puzzle me.

Come on... be a man. Ur wimping out here.

I don't think JP is a moron, not wimping out at all. But sometimes I want to call him one in jest.

Yea... just messing with you. Figured you would comment on my use of Ur... instead of you're

Do you think Hellickson is the best pitching prospect in the game?

It is not even the grammar that hacks me off about that. I get so sick and tired of this instant messaging and text messaging culture that is infecting society today. Quit being lazy and type the stuff out.

I don't make lofty claims like that.

Thats essentially what you are saying when you say you think he can pitch effectively in Colorado. Jeff Francis, probably the best pitching prospect in the game 5 years ago or so, has a career ERA of 5 and has zero hobby love. If Hellickson gets traded, the same thing will happen to him.

He does until he sells all of these......

Keep trying to put words in my mouth if it makes you happy, but you can't predict the future, and neither can I. Colorado wouldn't be the team I would choose to see him traded to, but I believe in him and think he will adapt to his surroundings just fine.

I am not putting words in your mouth, just trying to figure out what you are trying to say. You said above that you: ".. firmly believe he has the stuff to flourish wherever he goes. Including Colorado." Which leads me to beleive that you think he will do well in Colorado. To be honest, their are several pitchers in AA right now that project better than Hellickson who would not pitch well in Colorado in my opinion.

I also like the fact that a post gets made about this start, when one was not made about Brett Anderson's AA debut....
