how do you handle low ball offers? do you even respond? i know i can set up the auto decline, but never in a million years did i expect this low of an offer (clown sent me an email offering to buy), item has a bin/best offer of $79.95(beckett bv), this fool sent a best offer(via ebay email) of 50 cents. how do YOU deal with clowns like this?

Make him a counter-offer for what you actually want for the card.

If its $80.... set the auto decline at anything under $40.

This guy probably knows who you are and is trying to annoy you, and that you will mention it on the Beckett boards, which will spawn more guys who will try to hound your auctions just cause you mentioned it.

First, I get really angry and punch the walls because he sent me the bad offer.

I then post about it on a forum.

Finally, I reject the offer and send him an email threatening him and calling him names because of the bad offer, and then await other offers.

I would decline and be happy that the auction shows one more offer, so other bidders will offer a little more knowing that they have competition
