are there any that are completely free, theres no way id pay for something, id rather just place a low amount bid early

Not free, but very cheap. ($6 a year) I will try this site. I have been using auctionsniper.com and they charge 25 cent or more per auction depend on amount of money you placed. It will cost $9.99 per bid for over $1000. Pretty costly for a bid.

auctionstealer.com gives you 3 free snipes per week and you can sign up for service at a pretty reasonable rate if you need more than that. I've found that 3 per week is good enough for the most part.
