I'm assuming that the best bets for cards going up in value are going to be rookies right?

Or are Veterans and HOFer's a good investment over such a short period of time?

Good questions:

End date: Anything that ended today. 12:01am. So there should be quite a few auctions already to choose from.

During check ins(every two weeks) auctions ending after the last check in and before the present check in will be valid.

To make things interesting, please post your buys as you go along this week, because only one person will be allowed to claim any one auction. So if a sweet deal ends and 4 of us see it, only one person can use that particular auction and of course that person will the first one to post it.

But when it comes to check in, this rule will not apply.

Please E-MAIL me your buys as well so it's easier for me to keep track for the opening week.

ToySoldierz-I'll leave it up to the guys already playing. If any one of them says yes, you can play.

Checked in, so how do we keep a portfolio, just link auctions we've bought in here, and keep track of it our selves in Microsoft word etc.?

Daytona1-Sounds good, if you could e-mail me the link as well, that would be great. Linking it here will resolve any conflicts we might have as to who purchased what cards, but with the sheer number of posts, I may miss some if they're not e-mailed to me as well.

I'm probably going to put mine in word or excel, and once this week is over and all the buying is done, I'll post everyone's portfolio so that we know what we're competing against!

Sounds like fun, i always search ebay so..., this contest ends the start of the season correct?
