Another ebay seller ships in a PWE...Story inside...
So I bought a card of the bay and paid $2.50 for s/h....figured someone finally charging actually shipping costs!!!!

Got the card in a toploader in a PWE......so figuring I am in a good mood I left the seller positived feedback stating the following...

"Charged $2.50 to mail in a PLAIN WHITE ENVELOPE with 1 stamp..Wouldn't buy again"

So then I get a message through ebay from him stating...

"Hi Footbal guy. What's wrong with a plain white envolope? The card was well protected! All the plastic i used to protect the card cost money. I don't get it? You got a great price for the card who cares how i mail it"

So then I reply with...

"If your into the sports card business then you would know that mailing in a PWE is a NO NO. Cards can still easily get damaged that way.

End of day I wouldn't buy from again, that's my choice. Still gave you a positive feedback. Have a great evening!!!!"

Then I get this one today from the seller...

"Wow! you got your $6 card in two days. What are you so upset about? is it because the Pats Cheat! or something. I do mail my more expensive cards in bubble envelopes. 1st complant! Good Luck!!"

Then I check his feedback in which he replied to my feedback with...

"Failed to mention card arrived in two days very well protected Refunds available"

IMO a total waste and a tool. What does everyone else think?. Figured I would share. If anyone need to put them on their list the seller is: bubble_gum_cards

based upon paying 2.50 for shipping , if the card arrived very quickly and in good condition via pwe with a single stamp , i would have left positive feedback and dinged him on the shipping charges section of the detailed ratings (most likely a 3 or MAYBE a 2) ...

that said my positive feedback would have pointed out the pwe in a slightly more tactful way ...

here are some examples of comments i've left with positive feedback for a few pwe sellers :

very fast , but $3 shipping for a 41-cent PWE was a bit disappointing

lightning fast pwe delivery....thanks

nice card but not shipped within 72 hr as stated..paid 12/19 PWE postmarked 1/7

fast shipment but card arrived with crease due to damaged pwe

nice card....arrived quickly and safely despite the disappointing 41 cent PWE

perhaps i'm alone in my opinion on this , but i think your writing out plain white envelope in all caps and then adding the part about not buying from him again may have been a wee bit of overkill and those are the elements of your feedback that prompted him to get upset....granted , i am dead set against pwe shipping , but the matter would have likely ended as soon as you posted your feedback had it been a bit less.....
