One of the guys I know at the local shop pulled the 07 Contenders Brady Quinn Championship 1/1 Ticket Auto this past week. He's a good guy and knows I collect Quinn and that I would love to add it to my PC. Any idea what offer I should make to him for the card? I'd like to have it, but don't want to be broke

Ask him 1st what he wants, there really isn't a set price. What these 1/1s go for. I am still looking for my prized 1/1 Contenders. GL! I wouldn't know honestly, $650-$800 tops is my honestly, $500 would be a fantastic price lol. I am not Brady collector, maybe some of Quinn collectors will chime in, so don't hold me on the prices. I think now is the time to try to agressively get it, b/c of Brady's situation. If you gave $650, I would sell in a heartbeat if it were mine.

I have been doing some research and you are right, most of his stuff is not going very high right now. That being said, I'm still willing to pay a pretty penny for it.

You've got some nice stuff in your bucket, maybe the guy would be interested in a trade and some cash. Looking on closed items in ebay, there was a Contenders printing plate 1/1 auto that closed at $182. I know, I know its a printing plate, but it gives you an idea of what a 1/1 Contenders auto of Quinn goes for, access the value from there.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, most of the stuff in my PC is not available for trade right now.

As you mentioned, I think the problem with comparing the Championship ticket to plate autos or other product 1/1's is that it's like comparing Apples to Oranges.

400.... quinn wont even play this year but the browns will trade anderson this year at the end so if you do get it get it soon as when anderson is gone quinns stuff will go up as he'll be good !

Nobody here is going to be able to tell you the exact price of a 1/1 to be honest. I would say that normal value for the contenders 1/1's seems to be about 5 to 8 times the price of the base auto. With the base auto going for $100-105 it seems that a fair price would be $500-800.

If you really want you can have him list it on ebay and field offers for it and then sell it to you for $1 over the highest offer.
