Looking on closed items in ebay, there was a Contenders printing plate 1/1 auto that closed at $182. I know, I know its a printing plate, but it gives you an idea of what a 1/1 Contenders auto of Quinn goes for, access the value from there.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, most of the stuff in my PC is not available for trade right now.

As you mentioned, I think the problem with comparing the Championship ticket to plate autos or other product 1/1's is that it's like comparing Apples to Oranges.

I realize that and mentioned that in my reply. While it is a printing plate, its an auto 1/1 from the same product, that gives you a base to start from, I think $400 is a fair price for a guy that's not going to play unless there is an injury. Anything over $500 is pushing it IMO

this will help you out, because iv tracked his 1/1s.. these ar ebay ending prices. its all timing

bowman chrome superfractor auto $850
leaf limited 1/1 $800
lcm mirror black $1600

all three of those are better than the contenders imo, but its pretty close. id say 800 tops. but easily worth 650. hope this helps

Caniacforever Wrote:Nobody here is going to be able to tell you the exact price of a 1/1 to be honest. I would say that normal value for the contenders 1/1's seems to be about 5 to 8 times the price of the base auto. With the base auto going for $100-105 it seems that a fair price would be $500-800.

If you really want you can have him list it on ebay and field offers for it and then sell it to you for $1 over the highest offer.

I was simply asking for a ball park figure and opinions on the matter. I know it's impossible to price a 1/1. I appreciate your input though.

I'm holding this because the market for quinn is so crappy. I wouldn't take a dime under $500 because I know this guy is going to get a shot.

If I were you buying from him, I would start at $500 cash and see where it goes...

actually i would get offended and probably not sell you the card at all if I found out you were offering what other morons were paying for other 1/1 that is terrible advice. Come up with a reasonable price that is within your budget or combine cash and cards plus the fact he knows you collect Quinn and I am sure you will be both happy.

I would say $500 is a solid offer, but like others have said, see what he's interested in price was or if you have anything to trade plus cash.

First I would make sure he's not reading this forum. Second, I would ask him what's the lowest he would be willing to go. Next, if you're not willing to break the bank on the card, you're going to have to trade/sell something. (Sometimes you have to give up something in order to get what you really want).

Unless you have the cash or credit to pay for this card this would be your best bet.
