I agree. That kid could play a lot of positons. A true jack of all trades, master of none.


I collect Stuckey since I saw him at Clemson and liked the way he played. He could break any play with his explosiveness, but would also go across the middle to make a key catch.

I just started a J.D. Runnels collection, and even if he beats out Jason McKie and wins the starting job, he still won't get many cards made, because he's a fullback. But the dude was an absolute bulldozer in college, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Only reason I'm going for Chris Leak's cards is because it was the first Gators QB in my son's life. I'm starting a collection of all the Gators quarterbacks in his life. Plus, my wife's a Bears fan and I can get her involved in it.

I agree 100% with Daytona,with the exception being I only collect Cowboys.Doesn't matter who it is,as long as they have either a star on the helmet,or at least in a Cowboys uniform.

I collect David Thomas cuz I went to high school and played ball with him there.

I collect a lot of the tech players and they never made it in the NFL.

When I was younger (middle school age), I had a nice little Sosa collection...I remember I could go to stores and shows and get like 20-25 cards for $5...and then Sosa dominated baseball and I couldn't afford it anymore since it was like $5 for 5 cards (commons).

I used to be able to get good Steelers cards (Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis) until SBXL...but I guess that goes without saying if you win people want you


Right now, my two current collections are Felix Pie (Cubs fan, plus I was an intern with the I-Cubs and I still think he will be a good MLB player) and Acie Law (huge Aggie fan). Both of those guys aren't your superstars but still have some kind of potential to be one.

My favorites will always be Rob Johnson and Kerry Collins. I was just always a Johnson fan from day one, so even though he won't play another down, I'll be a buyer. Kerry kinda "made it" in a way, but I wouldn't go anywhere without my Starting Lineup of his from 1996 at one point in my childhood, so he'll always be a favorite! :lol:

I used to collect Ales Kotalik of the Sabres when he was bouncing between Buffalo and Rochester... I just really liked his name haha
