im so dissapointed....i thought you made the compartments in the fridge so that you could use actual wood instead of that liqued smoke crap
BOOOO hahaha very creative though ill give you that my gril has a compartment on the side to burn the wood for the smoke whats even better is my uncle has a tree cutting buisness so he can get me wood from apple, cherry, peach, and pear trees...amongst others |

joeycad Wrote:That's pretty cool. Is using an old fridge something you came up with or has it been done before? i had heard of people using old fridges, but never looked at one. i found a few web sites that gave me a couple ideas. and i wanted something fully electric that i dont have to babysit all day. the smoke pistol would be sweet for the fireplace. |

plus the old fridge is insulated so well, that once it gets to temperature i can unplug it for a hour or so and it stays the same temp

that looks awesome!! I just have a vertical water smoker and it is pretty cool, goes through a lot of wood chips. I like the idea of the fridge, like you said it is very insulated and I have never heard of the smoke pistol but seeing this is making me want a converted smoker. Nice work!
