Did you use a credit card for payment? If so, I suggest you give your credit card company a call and see what they can do for you.

What exactly was the issue with the transaction? More information might help.
Also, for future reference, use a credit card to fund Paypal payments (not a debit card or bank account). For a buyer, there is no extra charge to pay using a credit card and you have more protection by having your credit card company involved. |

What do you do when you get burned on ebay?
GreenLantern Wrote:What exactly was the issue with the transaction? More information might help. I purchased the item on ebay and paid the next day. I emailed the seller a few times asking when/if they had sent the item.I never did get a response from them so i filed a claim with paypal. They did not even respond to the claim on paypal. Paypal did side with me but i got back nothing because they had already put it back into their bank account. I have also tried to contact them by phone but have had no such luck. I was thinking small claims court but can anything really happen with that since they live so far away? Was just wondering if anyone had the same situation and what they did to work it out. |

He never sent the item and I filed a claim, only to get back $10 of a $65 auction because that's all he left in his paypal account. |

I won some stuff last year. I spent $425 and never got the stuff. I filed with Paypal. It took a while but they gave me back SOME of my money. I got back $300 and they said they would attempt to retrieve the rest.
Supposedly if you use Paypal you are protected for a certain amount. They should at least refund you some of the $$$. I would call and talk to someone at Paypal. |
