Guy hits the BIN on a Ben Revere I had for $18.
I ask for payment within five days on my auctions as I accept paypal only. Seven days pass, I file a NPB. Responds two days after that he will pay. Well, finally 18 days after the auction, nine after he said he'd pay he submits payment. Now, I was not in a hurry to get this out... With my NPB guys I usually try to ship in about the same manner as they pay, when I get to it. Nine days after I refund his payment after seeing that he paid with an unconfirmed paypal address. (I state right in my auction that I accept confirmed only). I explain to him why I refunded his payment and even gave him the time to get his address confirmed and to resubmit payment. He says he'll get it confirmed. A few days later he emails me telling me that if I don't sell him the card to the address he has now (unconfirmed), he'll give me a negative. And yes, I got the negative today... First one ever. Good thing I can't leave any as a seller... |

This buyer has given me problems as well but this was before the no buyer negative rule so I avoided that part of the situation.
Sellers, do yourselves a favor and block this tool from your auctions. |

Bo
I have sold to this buyer also. Very, Very slow payer. I had to threaten NPB also, got some sap story. Paid within 12 days of auctions end. Anyway, you are power seller, correct? If so, doesnt matter if you send to confirmed or unconfirmed address, you are covered. Just as a heads up. From eBay: Expanded seller protection from PayPal - Items sold by PowerSellers on eBay and paid for with PayPal will be covered against claims, charge backs, reversals for unauthorized payments, and merchandise not received. Transactions must meet the terms of coverage. This protection is free to PowerSellers and eliminates the need for confirmed addresses. Expanded seller protection is now available and enrollment takes only a few moments. |
