Nah. I just think it's sad to see people considering these rappers as talented musicians when most of them don't have a musical bone in their body.

That's a sweeping generalization. Tell Dr. Dre and Timbaland they don't have a musical bone in their body, or Eminem, who produced an entire 2Pac album.

I'm curious, how many of you have actually listened to anything he's made outside of singles? Judging by the crowd, probably not many. Go listen to Carter I, II, Drought series, Dedication series, etc, then come back. Carter III wasn't great. But it's hard to make a great album when you're forced to go back and make a new album because of a far in advanced leak. Not to mention dude released more mixtapes in the last year than most release in their career.

Lil Wayne is pretty clever lyrically..but he isn't thought provoking socially or politically. He is just clever lyrically in a funny way. He doesn't actually do many bars in each song usually but he is pretty witty.

I do not really like his style and flow but I can't deny some of the things he says are funny.

There are a few songs i like on the album including the one with Robin Thicke.

Are you serious? The music industry has changed forever. Selling a million in one week is an amazing achievement. Hell, going platinum period is an amazing achievement. Usher will probably barely go platinum with his latest album, even though he has one of the most popular songs of the spring/summer.
