JSA OWNED

I saw this awhile back, but forgot to post it on the boards. After being reminded about Operation Bullpen (Thanks Bilko ), I thought I would start a thread. I know JSA works closely with both UD & Beckett. I am curious to see if this take it down. :?:

Yeah, ive seen that video a few times. Hopefully this incident has brought some positive changes to how JSA authenticates its autos, even if the guy is signing 10 feet away.

I have seen that before. Is this the one where they actually have Dan Marino point out his autos and the fake ones and some he can't tell the difference.

That's why I only go to shows and get the autos in person. I'm not saying I don't trust Steiner, Mounted Memories, or UD authenticated stuff, but I know for a fact my stuff is real becuase I witnessed it being signed right in front of me.

In other news, the North defeated the South, Kennedy was assassinated, and we landed on the moon.

Beckett just took down the "sticky" on many of the boards last month that had been there since this took place last year.

It is not a good thing when something like this happens, and other similar incidents have happened before and after this. I blame not only JSA, but I also blame the show organizers. many shows like that have terrible set ups for the authentication of the autos at the show.

With that said, a mark here and there like this is not the standard for the whole industry. You still need to be educated and not just look at a label. If you see a JSA, PSA, or Steiner label, you still need to check what you are buying.

I dont care what its graded by really, i just see how the auto's look and compare them to auto'd cards etc.
