I was in the FPP tourney on pokerstars that they are running where 500 people join it and it pays only 1st place and thats entry into the MILLION DOLLAR Turbo Tourney they are running there soon. I got 2nd place Was a huge chip underdog heads up because of the hand that knocked the 3rd place guy out but was all in on a hand where if i won it we would be almost even in chips so im sitting in a better position.

I have 89 hearts and the guy raises it minimum and i call. Flop comes out Q 10 6 with 2 hearts. He puts me all in and i have TONS of outs so i call. He shows QJ. Of all the outs i had I catch no heart,no J,and no 7........meaning no million dollar tourney for me.

I played well all tourney and prolly led the tourney the longest in the chip lead. The guy that beat me had a sick run at the final table and got me on the last hand. What a crappy feeling to go to bed on!

I love playing suited connectors heads up - as with a good flop even if you are behind you have a ton of outs. Of course as you noticed, it doesn't always work out that way, lol.

Now that is a bad beat - ouch....

My worst was when I was playing in one of Full Tilts major tourneys - think we were down to about 200 ish, and I was about 35th in chips.

I was holding suited big slick (spades) from the big blind. 3 people stayed in (blinds were 200/400 maybe I don't recall) - I raised the pot (thinking people were just trying to limp in), and everyone but one person folded.

Flop comes up - J, 3 (both spades) and K (hearts) - so I have top pair with an A kicker. He checked, and I made a fairly large bet. He comes over the top with the rest of his chips (so now I am thinking wtf). I decide with top pair, and a flush draw I have more then enough odds and call.

He shows J9 neither a spade (believe it was suited diamonds) - I guess I was shocked he would go over the top with middle pair (and a 9 kicker) , but the turn came up A of hearts. So I have 2 pairs, and his only out is a red J or J of clubs.

River comes up - it's black, and yep you guessed it - J of clubs.

He doubled up - and I went downhill after that (yes I know I shouldn't have) - made some stupid decisions and ended up out soon after.

I had a 4 of a kind beat my higher 3 of a kind too but it wasn't for that much money.. it was for a 5k first prize. I did win 2nd place and some money but still.

I lost back to back Tourneys on Pokerstars. Each was a satellite to a Qualifier for the World series. First one I had KK, floped a Ace,King,King. Got put all in and watched the guy hit his Fourth ace last card! Got put out 2 from the Final table.

Next tourney of the same kind less than 20 minutes later I had A,A. Flop was Ace spade, Ace club, J heart. Got put all in and next cards were 10 spade and J of spade. Got beat by a Royal Flush cause the person went all in on the flop with a K,Q of spades.
