Unfortunatley it was not me who had the first BGS 10 pop but one is showing..out of 8,168 cards graded there is now 1 pristine 10 and it's a Michael Jordan allstar #120 wonder how much it will go for if it ever goes up for auction? There's still only 229 gem mint 9.5's on this set too..

It's hard to say what it would go for, but with all of the die hard Jordan collectors out there and that being the absolute highest attainable grade I would venture to say that the card would sell between 3-5K. I bet that dude was estatic when he saw the grade!!!!

I was hoping it would be you when I saw the topic. Question is, if it was your BGS 10, would you keep it or sell it to fund more 9.5s?

Hmm... To be honest I think I would sell it since I'm more than happy with my 9.5 and I could use the extra cheese for some more 88's to further my set, It would be a tough one to let go of though that's for sure..

On a side note I had the only one that had all 9.5 subgrades and I sold it and kept my 9.5x3 with a 9 last year.. Big Grin

Hmm...Just making my daily pop report check on 88's and I noticed the BGS 10 MJ is no longer, Must of been a glitch or something??

If that was the case, I would sell. You sell because you would get crazy money. You can then expect that sometime down the road, eventually at least one more will pop up and the price will be cut in half at least. Most of the time, the longer you hold on to a high grade card of a main stream set, you will only see the value drop.
