They put BVG on everything 1980 and prior it stands for "Beckett vintage grading" same slabs and all that they just don't put subgrades for the vintage..BGS is for 1981 and newer.

Great grades. Those cards usually don't grade well due to centering and other issues.

Beautiful submission!!! Its a crying shame about that Stockton though. So close SO CLOSE to a true gem. Overall I think you did great. Another step closer to your set completion too.

Thanks! Yeah the stockton was real close, I got a few more singles sitting at BGS right now so hopefully I get some good results. would be nice to get my set at 50% by the end of summer.

The sets coming along nicely. i'm glad you take the time to add scans to your registry. Makes it look 100% better than most. That sets gotta be tough, especially with the centering. 1988-89 Fleer is notorious for bad centering, though not as bad as the 86 and 87 sets.

I still gotta update the scans on the 1988 set my old scanner didn't scan well so I have alot with blurry pics.
