The 2007-08 eTopps Basketball offerings are well under way. This week, eTopps is offering three of its popular Ristricted Rookie Offerings (RRO): Al Horford, Luis Scola and Mike Conley. These players will never appear on an individual eTopps card again.


Also availible are veterans Jermaine O'Neal and Rashard Lewis. Collectors who buy all five cards this week will receive a free Kevin Garnett Celtics eTopps card. Also look for upcoming cards of Greg Oden and Kevin Durant.

The eTopps Fantasy-style games will make their to the hardcourt this year. The eTopps Roundball Challenge will launch in Week 5 of the eTopps basketball season. The Roundball Challenge will be an exciting eight-week game, and will be sure to test and reward your fantasy skills. Full details will be announced soon, but like the eTopps Football Pigskin Challenge, each week you will submit your team (four players each week) by unlocking their respective cards from your eTopps portfolio (you can use ’05, ’06 and ’07 cards), and their performance on the court that week will determine how well you do. There will be weekly winners and grand prize winners for the six-week challenge. Prizes will include a case of Triple Threads Basketball, a case of Topps Echelon, autographed cards and a grand prize trip to the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot for two.


eTopps 2007-2008 Basketball will offer Performance Bonus targets for player cards. Each player will have three categories of targets, no matter their position. If the player hits all three of the targets, you will receive Performance Bonus Rewards Points if you own the card at the end of the season.

Rebounds per Game
Free Throw Percentage

The number of performance bonus points eligible for each card is as follows:

Greater than $6.00: 3 points
$5.00 to $6.00: 2 points
Less than $5.00: 1 points
