I didn't watch the show, but I did find out while surfing the net for something else that they mentioned the location for Hockey Day in Canada 2009. Did they mention it during the actual broadcast?

It's 15 minutes from here. I'll have to make a trip up from Moncton for that weekend though.

We might make the trip up as well...most likely will just watch the broadcast and see if we catch any familiar faces. It really caught me by surprise though.

Wow what BS. Nabby got ROBBED!!!! They should Just Change it to the Brodeur Award, really.

On a Positive note maybe I can actually Sell my Kane YG this time... Apparently 1/2 BV was too much for the Calder Winner.

Agreed. Nabby was much more deserving, but as long as the name Brodeur, or Luongo, is in the mix, no one else every really gets consideration. Oh well, Brodeur will retire soon enough and we can finally recognize the best goalies in the league who truly deserve the award.

I also can't believe Zetterberg didn't win anything. I figured he was a slam dunk.

I think with Lidstrom and Brodeur, like Gretzky in the 80's, they are like champion boxers, you aren't going to win a decision over them,

They SHOULD change it to the Brodeur award. The guy earns it every year!!! (except when Kipper won, and the 35 times Hasek won).
