don't get me wrong, i think it is an eye-appealing product, however, i think as an investment it is not worth it. i enjoy busting it and pulling cards of future stars, however from an investment point of view it is one of the worst.

my wolski patch is one of my favourite cards i own newbee00. you know this.

but if you enjoy it, i say buy it. i have bought some too as i do enjoy it, but am just not as obsessed with it as you are, batty boy.

I bust a lot of it each year. It's the only product that I break just for fun and not necessarily for the hope of a big return. Even in cutting back, I busted five boxes this year.

I have to nitpick a on your post just a bit... the Junior and Minor portions of the set are licensed by the CHL and AHL. However, the nature of those two categories expand on your valid point of a shorter lifespan of mainstream collector interest.

Sorry to confuse... I meant NHL contract .... therefore, no RC's is the purest sense. It comes out and sells well until the sets are finished and/or the HSHS points are collected and then it's over. It's not really a product that sells throughout the year at a steady pace.

We are certainly just a small store so we generally only go through 3 cases a year - about the same amount of sales as SP Authentic versus 10-12 cases of UD.

I like the product but getting stuff you like is really hard, I think SP authentic is the best stuff out of any company because of price and what you pull.

A lot of you are saying how it doesn't give you your money back, who cares? If it's fun to open and it looks good then why do you need to make money off of it? I'm looking at it as a collector and a hobbyist, rather than a bussiness man

Totally agree, it's a blast around WJC time. Plus, it's fun to pull a card of someone you've never heard of, and to actually learn something about them from the card... when you break an NHL product, you already know all the players you pull.

I love to bust boxes of H&P, especially in Toronto during the huge card show at the redemption booths. My brother pulled a Luongo 1/1 Patch from the ITG booth.
ITG expireince over UD expirience anyday. (UD has nicer card designs IMO)
I think I'm gonna buy a box for the draft, try and pull a 1st rounder auto or someone good.

Really love H&P. I get alot of IP autos so its a great set as it has a lot of the young stars still in junior. I also really like the design.
