1990 Pro Set Pete Metzelaars - my first Bills card! Back then, that was as thrilling as pulling a 1/1! I busted so many packs to finally get it, I was THRILLED!
It wouldn't be the same having that card without the dog-eared top left corner

Vick 01 UD rookie...pulled it back in 01 out of my first pack ever, and it booked 30, and sold for a CRAZZZZYYY amount, almost like the Bush hype....i wouldnt have to singly take that card out though, because that and all of my other falcons rookies are in a box (the good ones, good parralels/inserts/rookies/serialed/serialed rookies) so id just grab the box...i need another box for my GU/auto cards

All of my PC is in one box together so I'd grab the box...but if not I'd have to grab a Dale Earnhardt common card I have. It was one of the first cards I got. I was lucky enough to pull it at the track and have him sign it later that day. That card won't ever leave the PC but I'd grab it because of the story.

My buddy Reese and I used to go to Kmart lunch break almost every day of our junior year of HS in 99-00. He would buy retail hockey and I football. I was a big Avalanche fan and he loved the Penguins. He pulled this and gave it to me. He passed away that year in a car wreck. I have kept this safe ever since.
also this card i sent to Texas Stadium in 4th grade. It came back 9 months later or so.

im pretty sure he means show one card that means something more to you than money. you dont literally have to search through a box to save it from a fire.

I traded him for it when it dipped down to $15 later that year haha... it was such a nice design, I'll always remember that as the "it" card it once was! |
